Upper Savannah Land Trust
Wallace Wood selected to serve as Interim Executive Director
Wallace Wood
With the resignation of Executive Director Carroll Culbertson in March, the USLT Board of Directors has selected Wallace Wood to serve as an interim director for the balance of the year while a search is made for a new executive director.
Wood, who was the Trust's president for the past year, assumed his new duties immediately.
USLT Vice-President Tim Burke was elected by the Board of Directors to succeed Wood as president.
At the annual meeting on May 1, board member Brad Thompson was elected to fill the USLT Vice-Presidency.
New board members Eric Smith and Andy Robinson were elected to fill the vancancies created by Wood's move and the rotation off the board of John Eichelberger.
The board expressed its deep appreciation for Eichelberger's many years of service and also for his work in hosting the annual meeting of the organization twice.
Current board members Judy Burns, Russ Burns and Frank Wideman were re-elected.
The new organizational structure is shown on our About Us page in this web site.
Brochures about conserving land through land trusts were provided attendees. Members not in attendance may obtain further information by contacting Wallace Wood (see Contacts page of this web site).
